About Us…
The People’s Church of Potter Brook is a friendly church that believes and teaches the Bible. We want to help people come to know God in a personal way and live for Him.
Here is how you can know God personally!

A- ADMIT you are a sinner & ASK for forgiveness!

  • Romans 3:23- “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
  • 1 John 1:9- “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

B- BELIEVE in Jesus as your Savior & BECOME a child of God by receiving Him

  • John 3:16- “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”
  • John 1:12- “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”

C- CONFESS that Jesus is Lord & CHOOSE to follow Him daily!

  • Romans 10:9- “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
  • Luke 9:23- [Jesus said,] “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”

Pastor Gene Jones and the people at PCOFPB would love getting to know you and help you grow in your walk with the Lord.
The People’s Church of Potter Brook was established in 1890 with the purpose of “encouraging and conducting public worship.” Since that time, the People’s Church family has continued to worship God,  preach the Bible, reach our community and the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encourage believers in their walk with the Lord, and gather together for prayer, encouragement, and fellowship.
